We had visited Punjabi by nature restaurant near Whitefield, Bangalore. Just near the Big Bazaar store. Our entire team visited the restaurant for the lunch buffet.

The location of the restaurant is near to very busy main road, which gets choked in the evening. So plan your timing accordingly to reach on time. The restaurant is well designed and they have given importance to look and feel. I felt the environment was pleasant and refreshing. The food was neatly organized between starters, main course, deserts and drinks sections. Was easy to identify sections and choose accordingly.

Coming to food, the restaurant served both VEG and NON VEG. The starter were good but not extraordinary expected bit more as i had buffet in Marriot Hotel few weeks back. So expected to match the quality, but it didn't. The soup was horrible and was not hot enough to enough it. But this was decent enough quality for the price. We were given a complementary drink to choose from i.e beer, softdrinks (Pepsi, 7Up, Sprint, Miranda).

The restaurant has its own Brewing area where they make the beer which they supply. This was the first time i have seeing brewing area inside a restaurant. I didn't take the beer as i was on official lunch :).

The main course was average. Was disappointed to see food was not hot enough as i wanted, every thing was cold as though there are lying there for a hour or so. Considering the time we went (1.30pm) i would expect my lunch to be served hot. Nothing special about the main course as it was very ordinary expect the Panner masala (forgot exact name) and roti. Among the non veg gravy, i like the murg masala and also there was one made of chicken. The Egg biriyani was below average (mainly because it was not served hot).

There was a chat section which had panni puri, groundnut masala, lassi, dhai puri, etc. The lassi was very good and i was forced to take two glasses :). Heard from friend that chats were good.

Deserts section had normal stuffs like fruits, rasagula, jammu, Ice cream, kheer, etc. I took jammu with Vanilla ice cream which was good and tasty. That was the last item which i had and also my stomach was full.

Final words...........

Punjabi By Nature is a good restaurant to have the buffet in case you are a light eater. I personally felt there was limited choices for veg and non veg, food was not hot enough (as i like), the staff were not experienced to handle 60+ people in one shot. They took time to clear the table plates on time. The taste was decent enough. The Punjabi By Nature restaurant can improve more on its quality and service.

Reaching Punjabi By Nature......
